Frequently Asked Questions
Our costs will typically include everything for the above ground fire sprinkler system: from the flange at the riser room to the sprinkler heads. This includes design, permitting, labor and materials. Our estimate will detail what is included, and what is not, along with what other trades will be needed (such as an electrician for wiring alarms). We will generally bid for semi-recessed sprinklers unless you specify otherwise, just to keep costs down.
We have always been a design build contractor and we plan to keep it that way. It is our experience that outside designs end up costing more in the long run as they are not able to cater to specific project needs. With design build, we are more involved in the projects, resulting in smoother and faster installation.
We design all of our systems in Autosprink, which is natively in a 3D environment, making it perfect for your coordination efforts. We do not reach out to other subcontractors typically, so this is something you or your general contractor is going to want to set up. But when that meeting happens, our team will be there. We always coordinate work with trades in the field, ensuring a smooth installation process.
Yes, we are licensed to install underground fire sprinkler lines. However, keep in mind our guys aren't on backhoes every day, so it may be best if you dig the holes. Our professionals can assist when giving you a consultation.
Nope, we do sprinklers. Alarms will be your low voltage sub, and extinguishers and signs usually falls on the general contractor.
