Hiring the right Fire Sprinkler Contractor is crucial to keeping your project on budget and on schedule. Choosing the lowest bid is not always the best approach as the time-tested phrase often plays out: “you get what you pay for.” Contractors that bid low may have missed a critical element to the project, or specifically excluded an item within scope and later hit you with surprise change orders after realizing their mistake. This is shady business practice, and such contractors should be avoided. At Empire Fire Protection, our team works with you to ensure the pricing provided is thorough and accurate, so no surprises happen as soon as we hit the job site.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ
When a tenant takes over a space, just like with every trade, changes must be done to the fire system in order to stay up to code. Our goal is to keep it as cost effective as possible for you, even if that means no change to the system! (Best case scenario). Sometimes the changes are as little as adding and relocating a few sprinklers, while other times a completely new system must be installed. The professionals at Empire Fire Protection will be able to assist in determining what needs to be done in order to keep your business up to the fire code.
We've done it! Our goal with these types of projects is to keep it "minimally invasive". The hard truth is that there is only so much we can do to preserve the exact look and feel of the building, but we will do everything in our power to make it blend in as much as possible. We have worked on numerous historical buildings throughout our careers, the oldest that comes to mind was built in 1923. Regardless, if your project is 100 years old or just 1, we've got you covered.
Yes! Over the course of a sprinkler system’s life, it can become damaged, corroded, or even fail. At Empire Fire Protection we have the skills and experience to get your system back in working order.
